Oregon, US-based title insurance, underwriting and escrow services provider Williston Financial Group (WFG) has agreed to acquire certain branches of title operations from California-based real estate technology operations provider Doma Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: DOMA) to expand presence in Northern and Central California, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The sale includes multiple retail title locations and operations centres in the Northern and Central California regions.
In connection with the transaction, Houlihan Lokey is acting as a financial advisor to Doma and Mayer Brown LLP is acting as legal counsel to Doma.
Williston Financial Group is the parent company of WFG National Title Insurance Company, a provider of title insurance and real estate settlement services for commercial and residential transactions nationwide.
