Finland-based cryogenic measurement systems platform Bluefors has acquired Japanese cryogenic equipment distributor Rockgate to establish direct sales and service presence in the Japanese cryogenics technology market, the company said.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition of Rockgate will expand Bluefors' global footprint beyond Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, and USA.

The acquisition of Rockgate is in line with Bluefors' growth strategy to be close to the markets and drive customer intimacy.
