US-based defense and government services-focussed private equity firm Godspeed Capital Management LP has acquired Maryland-based federal agencies-focussed information technology solutions provider Exceptional Software Strategies, Inc, (ESS) to focus on providing cyber and technology solutions to the US Defense and Intelligence communities, the company said.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. ESS provides core capabilities in cyber, software and systems engineering, and geographic information systems, and works with a broad array of Intelligence Community and Federal agencies with critical National Security missions.
