Wood Partners Acquires Alta Portero Hill Mixed-Use Development

12 January 2018 - Georgia, US-based real estate development company Wood Partners has finalised the acquisition and start of construction of San Francisco, US-based Alta Portero Hill, a 172-unit, mixed-use development in the Potrero Hill district, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Wood Partners said Potrero Hill aligns with the company's approach to building communities that aim to complement and enhance surrounding neighborhoods. Alta Potrero Hill adds to the company's growing Bay Area portfolio.
The seven-storey building will include 8,000 square feet of rooftop deck with 360-degree skyline views. The property will consist of over 40% family sized units. Alta Potrero Hill will consist of approximately 6,700 square feet of ground-floor retail and PDR space for artisans and craftsmen.
This is the second Wood Partners project in San Francisco and the sixth project in the Bay Area.
Wood Partners acquires, develops, constructs and property manages high density and mixed-use communities.
The company has been involved in the acquisition and development of more than 70,000 homes with a combined capitalisation of more than USD 11.5bn nationwide.
Wood Partners currently owns 70 properties with a combined total of 20,000 units.
