Vishay Precision Group Acquires Mechanical Test and Simulation Systems Producer Dynamic Systems for USD 41m

8 November 2019 - Pennsylvania, US-based Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (NYSE: VPG), a provider of precision sensors and sensor-based systems, has acquired New York, US-based thermal-mechanical test and simulation systems producer Dynamic Systems Inc., for a purchase price of USD 41m, the company said.

VPG said DSI is an established, high-margin business, with a strong brand and has the largest installed base of products of its type in the world, according to market estimates.
DSI expands the company's position in the steel market and offers opportunities for growth by leveraging sales capabilities and market presence, and by expanding DSI's product line to address new opportunities.
