RealPage to Acquire Hipercept to Expand Investment Management Solution

14 June 2019 - Texas, US-based RealPage, a software and data analytics provider to the real estate industry, has agreed to acquire substantially all of the assets of Massachusetts, US-based CRE Global Enterprises, LLC, a holding company for New York, US-based data services and data analytic solutions provider Hipercept, the company said.
Upon completion of the acquisition RealPage plans to begin marketing a combined Asset and Investment Management platform that integrates its existing Portfolio Asset Management and Portfolio Investment Management products with Foundation and cash flow forecasting tool FUEL.
Following the acquisition, RealPage will be able to offer its existing commercial and multifamily clients a fully integrated valuation capability with FUEL, expanding the Underwriting Analytics product RealPage released last year.
The combination is expected to create an integrated platform that aggregates and manages data across the entire investment lifecycle for real estate and alternative investments.
RealPage is a global provider of software and data analytics to the real estate industry. Clients use its platform to improve operating performance and increase capital returns.
Hipercept provides data services and data analytic solutions to institutional real estate owners with over USD 500bn in assets under management operating in the US, Asia, Canada and Europe, addressing the problem of aggregating, reporting and benchmarking real estate across multiple asset classes, property management platforms and external data sources. Clients include major banks, pension funds, insurance companies and asset management firms.
