New York-based software quality assurance and testing services provider QA Mentor, Inc. has acquired India-based software consultancy Step One Step Ahead, to strengthen portfolio in robotic process automation, the company said.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed by company officials.

Step One Step Ahead has a portfolio of developed products such as Metric Alert, Robotic Controller and Robotic Monitor.

QA Mentor has established a new strategic Robotics Automation and Monitoring division, which will operate under the umbrella of QA Mentor, Inc. and concentrate on providing a range of additional services and capabilities around Robotic Process Automation, Robotic Test Automation and Training and Education space.
