Tennessee, US-based shipping racks and packaging manufacturer Morrison Industries has acquired US-based packaging manufacturer Envoy Packaging to broaden packaging footprint to expand into new markets, the company said.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Envoy Packaging will fabricate plastic and foam packaging, and also dunnage, designed to work in tandem with Morrison's steel shipping racks and expendable, cardboard, packaging products as well.

This allows Morrison and Envoy to market and produce a full line of both expendable and returnable packaging products.

Morrison Industries designs and builds custom steel returnable shipping racks and packaging for a range of industries, including specialised shipping racks for the automotive industry.
