6 December 2018 - Canada-based cosmetic actives company IFF-Lucas Meyer Cosmetics, a subsidiary of New York, US-based International Flavors and Fragrances Inc., has acquired three personal care ingredients and related intellectual property from Iowa, US-based ingredient manufacturer Kemin Industries, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
This acquisition expands IFF-LMC's product portfolio and related offerings to its customers, particularly to those focussed on the environment and sustainability.
IFF-Lucas Meyer Cosmetics develops, manufactures and markets innovative ingredients for the cosmetics and personal care industry, offering proprietary active ingredients, functional ingredients and delivery systems that address health and wellness macro-trends in the beauty industry in both the developed and emerging markets.
