HomeServe USA Acquires CroppMetcalfe to Boost HVAC Business

14 March 2019 - Connecticut, US-based home repair services HomeServe USA has acquired Virginia, US-based HVAC contractor CroppMetcalfe to expand services in the Washington DC area, the company said.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

HomeServe said adding CroppMetcalfe to HomeServe's HVAC business nearly doubles its HVAC workforce, and offers the company the opportunity to significantly increase its customer base in and around the nation's capital.

Combined with HomeServe's existing HVAC business, the company will continue claiming a larger piece of the estimated USD 29bn annual HVAC business opportunity in the US.

CroppMetcalfe joins HomeServe's 2018 acquisitions of Cleveland-based Geisel Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing and Long Island's Gregg Mechanical as part of its expanding HVAC service and installation business.

HomeServe USA Corp. is a provider of home repair solutions serving 3.7m customers across the US and Canada under the HomeServe, Home Emergency Insurance Solutions, Service Line warranties of America and Service Line warranties of Canada (SLWC) names.

CroppMetcalfe serves residential and commercial customers throughout DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia.
