Aurora Cannabis Closes Acquisition of US-based Hemp-Derived CBD Products Firm Reliva

Canada-based cannabinoids company Aurora Cannabis Inc (NYSE: ACB) (TSX: ACB) has completed the previously announced acquisition of US-based hemp-derived CBD products producer Reliva, LLC for approximately USD 40m of Aurora common shares, the company said.

The transaction also includes a potential earn-out of up to a maximum of USD 45m payable at Aurora's option in shares or cash contingent upon Reliva achieving certain financial targets over the next two years.

Aurora is in the cannabis industry serving both the medical and consumer markets.

Headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta, Aurora's brand portfolio includes Aurora, Aurora Drift, San Rafael '71, Daily Special, AltaVie, MedReleaf, CanniMed, Whistler, and ROAR Sports.
