Tuesday 31 March 2020

US-based software company Aurea Software, Inc, helping businesses drive digital transformation, has announced its intention to acquire document creation and collaboration tools provider BroadVision (NASDAQ: BVSN), to expand enterprise software library, the company said.

The anticipated acquisition is part of a pre-packaged, Chapter 11 corporate reorganisation with Aurea's parent, ESW Capital LLC, providing funding for the acquisition and ongoing operations.

BroadVision expects shareholders to receive at least USD 4.375 per share of BVSN common stock. On the plan effective date, all existing equity interests in BroadVision will be extinguished, and ESW will receive all shares of the reorganised company. The companies expect the acquisition process to conclude in May 2020, subject to court approval.

BroadVision's solutions simplify the creation and management of complex documents requiring version control, input from multiple sources, multi-format publishing and execution in multiple languages.

Aurea helps global businesses accelerate digital transformation, through access to the world's first business software library.

BroadVision provides e-business solutions that enable the enterprise and its employees, partners and customers to stay actively engaged, socially connected and universally organised to achieve greater business results.
