GTT Closes EUR 50m Acquisition of Dutch IP Network KPN International

2 December 2019 - Virginia, US-based cloud networking provider GTT Communications, Inc. (NYSE: GTT) has closed the acquisition of Netherlands-based IP network KPN International, a division of KPN N.V., for approximately EUR 50m (USD 56m) in cash, on a cash and debt-free basis, the company said.

The combination augments scale and network reach, adding depth to GTT's Tier 1 global IP network in Europe across 21 countries, including long-haul fiber routes and metro rings in Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam and Paris.

GTT said the acquisition of KPN International deepens the company's market presence in the European region.
