Software AG Acquires Built.io to Deliver Comprehensive Integration Offering

1 October 2018 - Germany, based software vendor Software AG (Frankfurt TecDAX: SOW) has acquired California, US-based iPaaS company Built.io to accelerate leadership in hybrid and cloud integration, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Built.io's Flow and Embed products will come together as a single integrated offering with Software AG's globally recognised webMethods Integration Platform.
The acquisition opens Software AG's webMethods integration capabilities to any Node.js developer and allows for enterprise-wide participation in integration projects. It also opens Software AG's application and B2B integration and API portfolios to fast-growing developer communities and a near limitless innovation pool.
Built.io also extends Software AG's iPaaS offering to the small- and medium-sized business market. Software AG's webMethods integration Cloud's focus on enterprise customers is complemented by Built.io's extensive experience in addressing the SMB market and in empowering line of business users within the modern enterprise.
