AGI Holdings Acquires UK Electronic Systems Supplier Aish Technologies

7 August 2017 - US-based private equity firm J.F. Lehman and Company affiliate AGI Holdings has acquired UK-based electronic systems supplier Aish Technologies Ltd. through one of its wholly owned subsidiaries, the company said.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
AGI said through the acquisition, it can expand its offerings with Aish's cathodic protection systems in support of critical on-board communication and combat applications.
Aish is a provider of ruggedised display systems, cathodic protection systems and other subsystems for the UK and US navies, as well as other global defense and commercial customers.
AGI is a provider of proprietary situational awareness and LED lighting systems for naval vessels, military and commercial aircraft and military ground vehicles.
The company serves customers in over 50 countries, with operating subsidiaries including Aeronautical and General Instruments in Poole, UK, Hoffman Engineering in Stamford, Connecticut, US and Aircraft Appliance and Equipment Ltd. in Brampton, Ontario.
J.F. Lehman and company is a middle-market private equity firm focused on the defense, aerospace and maritime sectors. The firm has offices in New York and Washington.
Jones Day (lead counsel) and Miller and Chevalier Chartered (international trade, government contracts and defense security compliance matters) acted as legal advisors to AGI and JFLCO. Lincoln International acted as buy-side advisor to AGI and JFLCO.
