Alea Grows UK Presence with Acquisition of Online Casino LadyLucks

12 October 2017 - Malta-based 3D virtual realty online casino operator Alea has acquired UK-based mobile casino LadyLucks from Italy based multinational gaming company International Game Technology (IGT) to strengthen presence in the UK market, the company said.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
LadyLucks' previous owner, IGT, bought the site in 2014 as part of its GBP 18m (USD 24m) takeover of Probability.

Alea said this move forms part of the company plans to add online gaming across desktop channels and grow its presence in the UK following the receipt of a licence from the gambling commission.

Alea, the operator of online casino SlotMillion, said revamping and has boosted the number of game providers from two to seven. now offers more than 80 titles from gaming innovators such as IGT, NetEnt and Microgaming.

The company said it plans to add more games to the portfolio over the coming months.

Alea aims to create an online casino experience and to design and develop new technologies and innovations to drive player engagement and take online casino to the next level.
