Illinois, US-based supply chain solutions company AIT Worldwide Logistics, Inc. has acquired UK-based residential delivery provider Panther Logistics to strengthen e-commerce home delivery expertise, the company said.

Terms of AIT Worldwide Logistics' deal to acquire Panther have not been disclosed.

This latest acquisition by AIT adds more than 400 people across eight UK locations to the company's global network.

It follows AIT's purchase of Los Angeles-based freight forwarder Unitrans International Corp. last year, and the 2018 acquisitions of food logistics forwarder WorldFresh Express and UK-based ConneXion World Cargo.

AIT Worldwide Logistics helps companies grow by expanding access to markets all over the world where they can sell and procure their raw materials, components and finished goods.

Panther Logistics is a UK firm with expertise in e-Commerce residential transportation logistics, specialising in white glove and two-man delivery.
