Adapture Renewables Acquires Rippey Solar Project from Q Cells

California-based solar project developer Adapture Renewables, Inc. has acquired Texas 81mw solar project Rippey Solar from South Korea and Germany based Hanwha Q Cells USA Corp. to increase portfolio of solar energy generating assets to 239mw DC, the company said.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The project highlights Q Cells' strength as a vertically-integrated supplier of modules, developer, and engineering, procurement, and construction manager.

Adapture Renewables, Inc. has a direct stake in the project's success, having financed the project with in-house capital and will own and operate the project for the long-term.
