INSULIN DEVICE MAKER VALERITAS AGREES TO ZEALAND PHARMA BUYOUT

Bankrupt US-based medical technology company Valeritas Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: VLRX), the maker of the V-Go Wearable Insulin Delivery device, has agreed to sell substantially all of the business to Denmark-based biotechnology company Zealand Pharma A/S (NASDAQ: ZEAL), the company said.
Valeritas said the transaction contemplates the retention of nearly the entirety of the Valeritas workforce.
